JinE, born on January 22, 1995 in South Korea, is a well-known pop singer who gained fame as a member of the popular K-pop girl group OH MY GIRL. The group rose to stardom in 2015 with hit singles like “Cupid” and “Closer.” JinE left the band in 2017 to focus on seeking treatment and recovery for health issues.
Before her music career took off, she attended Dongji Girls’ High School. In 2015, JinE publicly disclosed that she had been diagnosed with anorexia. She was also involved in working on the band’s first three EPs.
Born Shin Hye-jin, she has one younger brother.
