Jillian Rose Reed, born on December 20, 1991 in Hollywood, Florida, is an American TV actress who gained recognition for her lead role in the MTV teen series Awkward. Her performance earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. She later voiced a character in the Disney series Elena of Avalor.
Prior to her breakout role, Reed had a recurring part as Simone on the Showtime series Weeds and was part of the cast of My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3, a 2012 TV movie.
Reed comes from a family with strong ties to entertainment; her younger brother Robbie Tucker appeared on the popular CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. She also has an older brother named Matt. In October 2021, she married her long-time boyfriend Marty Shannon.
