About Jill P Carter
Jill P Carter is a Democratic Party politician and member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing the 41st district in Baltimore City. She was born on June 18, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland to Zerita Joy Carter and civil rights activist Walter P. Carter.
After completing a B.A. in English from Loyola College, she went on to earn her law degree from the University of Baltimore. During her tenure in the House of Delegates, she served as a member of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland and on the House Judiciary Committee.
In 2007, Jill launched an unsuccessful campaign for the office of Mayor of Baltimore.
