Before she gained fame for her role in The Bold and the Beautiful, Gareis played Grace Turner on The Young and the Restless. She graduated with a degree in accounting from Franklin and Marshall College before pursuing acting.
Prior to her acting career, Gareis also competed in beauty pageants and won Miss New York USA in 1994. On a personal note, she is married to Bobby Ghassemieh and they have two children together.
