Jekalyn Carr is a gospel singer born on April 22, 1997, in Arkansas. She is also known as an evangelist and entrepreneur. Her song “Greater is Coming” reached the top ten of Billboard’s gospel music chart, showcasing her talent and success as a national recording artist.
Carr’s second album, It’s Gonna Happen, was released on August 12, 2014. Before gaining national recognition, she appeared in the 2010 documentary Rejoiced in Shout by performing “Amazing Grace.” At just nine years old, she had already shared the stage with notable gospel artists such as Shirley Caesar and Marvin Sapp.
