Janet Smollett (born November 27, 1952) is an American family member best known as the mother of Jussie Smollett. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and has been recognized for her expertise in home cooking. In 2018, she collaborated on The Family Table: Recipes and Moments from a Nomadic Life.
