About Jacqueline Freney
Jacqueline Freney is an Australian Paralympic swimmer, born on June 6, 1992. She made history by winning a record eight gold medals for Australia at the 2012 Paralympic Games and received the World Disabled Swimmer of the Year award for her exceptional performance.
Before gaining fame as a Paralympic sensation, Jacqueline was born with cerebral palsy. She has also set two world records in the S7 400-meter freestyle event.
Her father, Michael Freney, has served as her coach throughout her swimming career.
