About Iveta Bartosova
Iveta Bartosova was a Czech World Music Singer born on April 8, 1966. She began her career in the early 1980s, performing with a band called Dianthus and released her debut solo album, I.B., in 1987.
Bartosova gained fame not only for her successful music career but also for frequent appearances in Czech tabloids. She won the Zlaty slavik poll of top female musicians three times. However, she struggled with substance abuse and other psychiatric problems throughout her life.
Tragically, Iveta Bartosova took her own life at the age of forty-eight. Her personal life was marked by relationships with fellow musician Ladislav Staidl, resulting in a son named Artur. Later she married and divorced actor Jiri Pomeje before marrying Josef Rychtar prior to her death.
In addition to music, Bartosova also made an appearance as the main character in a 1993 Czech comedy movie titled Svatba upAÂrA .
