About Ivania Carpio
Ivania Carpio (born May 11, 1988) is a Nicaraguan fashion blogger and designer. She is the founder of Aetelier, a company specializing in minimalistic home goods. Carpio manages the style and lifestyle blog Love Aesthetic Aetelier, which has partnered with several renowned design companies including Calvin Klein, Maison Margiela, and Comme des Garcons.
Before gaining recognition as a blogger, Carpio lived in various parts of South America due to her mother’s diplomatic career. They eventually returned to the Netherlands when she was 10 years old.
Carpio’s work has been exhibited at Galeri Philippe Jousse in Paris and Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. Moreover, she has served as a guest curator for Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio.
She collaborates on Aetelier with her partner photographer Romeo Pokomasse along with her brother Jos Carpio.
