Iris Scott (born May 26, 1984) is an American painter known for her unique finger-painting technique in oil. Her works have been featured in various press outlets and galleries and collected by companies such as Microsoft, Coca-Cola, and several Swedish Medical Centers.
Prior to gaining recognition for her finger-painting style, Scott learned multiple painting techniques at various universities including charcoal, pastels, watercolors, and oil. While studying abroad in Taiwan, she had a lack of brushes and decided to finish a large-scale painting by hand. This experience inspired her to continue developing her own signature technique and style.
