About Irina Dorofeeva
Irina Dorofeeva is a Belarusian folk singer known for her songs “This Night,” “The Heart of my Land” and “Girl on the Beach.” Born on July 7, 1977 in Belarus, she began her musical career at age 12 as a member of the group Rainbow. From 1997 to 1999, she was a soloist with the State Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2011, Dorofeeva was chosen to represent Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest but was replaced by Anastasia Vinnikova. She comes from a musical family – her brother Vyacheslav Dorofeev is also involved in music. Her parents are named Dina and Arkadiy Dorofeev.
