Imelda Staunton, born on January 9, 1956 in London, England, is an award-winning movie actress known for her notable performances in the Harry Potter film franchise, Sense and Sensibility, and Maleficent. She also lent her voice to the character Aunt Lucy in the 2014 film Paddington.
Prior to gaining fame, Staunton attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she crossed paths with future co-star Alan Rickman.
