About Jessica Barth
Jessica Barth (born July 12, 1978) is a movie actress from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is most well known for her role as Tami-Lynn in the Seth MacFarlane features Ted (2012) and Ted 2 (2015). Barth has also made notable guest appearances on television shows such as Parks and Recreation, Melissa & Joey, CSI, and How I Met Your Mother.
Before pursuing her screen acting career, Barth trained at Philadelphia’s Wilma Theatre and attended La Salle University where she pursued a communications degree. She later earned a degree in acting and creative writing from West Chester University. Her theatrical credits include productions of Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love and Michael Frayn’s Noises Off.
Barth spent her youth in Philadelphia before moving to Los Angeles where she worked as a server at several restaurants before making her television debut in a 2004 episode of The District. In 2008 she married Brett Dicksa but the couple later divorced.
