About Hee-ae Kim
Hee-ae Kim (born April 23, 1967 in Seoul, South Korea) is a prominent South Korean actress known for her roles in various Korean dramas and feature films. She gained recognition for her recurring roles in popular dramas such as Sons and Daughters, Secret Affair, and My Husband’s Woman. In addition to her TV work, she has also appeared in notable films including Moonlit Winter (2019) and The Vanished (2018).
Prior to her acting career, Kim initially pursued modeling after being discovered in Seoul in 1978. She later attended Chung-Ang University where she studied Theater and Film before making her acting debut in the film The First Day of the Twentieth Year (1983).
In 1996, Kim married Lee Chan-jin, CEO of DreamWiz. The couple has two children together.
Kim’s outstanding talent was recognized when she received the Best Actress award at the 9th annual Seoul International Drama Awards for her role on the series Secret Love Affair.
