About Hanna Jaff
Hanna Jaff (born November 4, 1986) is a human rights activist, author, and politician from San Diego, California. Since 2013, she has served as the Undersecretary of Relations with the Civil Society. Additionally, Jaff is known for founding the Jaff Foundation for Education, a nonprofit organization focused on teaching English to immigrants and refugees through more than 170 charitable events worldwide.
Prior to her activism work, Jaff obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Nation University in California and a master’s degree in international relations from Harvard University. She has also been a featured speaker at over 70 universities, schools, and institutions globally.
Jaff comes from an accomplished family background; her great-grandfather Carlos Henry Bosdet was responsible for introducing the telephone to Mexico.
