Ha’a Keaulana, born on March 2, 1992 in Makaha, Hawaii, is a professional photographer renowned for her captivating action shots of surfers and the sea. With over 180,000 followers on Instagram, her work has garnered widespread acclaim.
Keaulana’s passion for surfing began at the age of three when she first hit the waves with her grandfather. By twelve, she had already delved into competitive surfing. Additionally, due to her father’s profession as a stunt coordinator, Keaulana frequently collaborated with him as a stunt-girl on his film projects.
Hailing from a family deeply rooted in ocean culture and sports – including surf legend Buffalo Keaulana as her grandfather – Ha’a was exposed early to the enchanting world of water activities. Her mother was a hula dancer while her father excelled not only as a waterman but also within the realm of stunt coordination. She has one younger brother.
