About Gracie Otto
Gracie Otto, born on May 23, 1987, in Sydney, Australia, is a renowned director known for her work on the acclaimed 2013 documentary film The Last Impresario. Prior to her successful career as a director, she was also an actress and starred in Three Blind Mice and several other Australian independent movies.
Before gaining fame in the film industry, Gracie played on Burwood Girls High School’s championship indoor soccer team and later pursued her studies at the Sydney Film School.
In 2013, she received the Qantas SOYA Film Award in recognition of her talent and contribution to the industry. Gracie comes from a family with a strong background in entertainment as she was born to Susan Hill and stage and screen actor Barry Otto. Her older sister, Miranda Otto, also had a successful career as a film actress.
