About Grace Bonney
Grace Bonney (born June 9, 1981) is a blogger and the founder of the popular decor site Design*Sponge, which she started in 2004. In addition to her work with Design*Sponge, she founded D*S Biz Ladies Series in 2008 as a series of meetups for women running creative businesses and it has since evolved into a weekly column on her site.
Prior to her success with Design*Sponge, Bonney worked as an editor for publications such as Domino, House & Garden and Craft magazines. She has also made appearances on talk shows including Good Morning America, NBC’s The Chew, The Martha Stewart Show, and Martha Stewart Radio Show.
Bonney resides in Brooklyn and Hudson Valley with her wife Julia Turshen.
