About Gisella Bayona
Gisella Bayona is a journalist and news anchor known for her work on the program Noticias 24 on Teleamazonas, one of the major Ecuadorian television networks.
Prior to her career in journalism, Bayona studied at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. In 1994, she was the third runner-up of Miss Ecuador.
Her early television experience includes being the presenter of a music video show in the 90s called Tuning.
In terms of personal life, Bayona married marketing entrepreneur Danny Martinez in 1996; however, they divorced in 2017. The couple has two children together: son Emilio (born in 2000) and daughter Antonia (born in 2004).
