Gillian Gilbert, born on January 27, 1961 in Manchester, England, is a renowned guitarist known for her work with the British rock band New Order and the synthopop group The Other Two. She has made significant contributions to albums such as Movement (New Order) and Super Highways (The Other Two). Prior to her fame with these bands, she was part of an all-female punk rock group called The Inadequates during the 1970s. One notable achievement is her 1993 album The Other Two & You which featured the popular track “Tasty Fish.” Gillian Gilbert hails from Manchester but was raised in Cheshire. In 1993, she married her The Other Two collaborator Stephen Morris and they have since raised two daughters.
