Hunter Schafer is a transgender woman born on December 31, 1998, in Trenton, New Jersey. She is known for her work as a model, actress, artist, and activist for LGBT rights.
Schafer made her acting debut in the HBO series Euphoria in 2019, portraying the character Jules. Before gaining recognition as an actress, she protested against North Carolina’s Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act while still a high school student. In 2017, she graduated from the High School Visual Arts program at University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
She has been featured on Teen Vogue’s “21 Under 21” list and has also worked as a model for luxury brands such as Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, and Marc Jacobs.
Her family includes two younger sisters and one younger brother. Her parents are Katy Schafer and Mac Schafer. In January 2022 she began dating her Euphoria co-star Dominic Fike but they parted ways in July 2023.
