Genzebe Dibaba is a renowned middle and long-distance runner born on February 8, 1991, in Bekoji, Ethiopia. She gained recognition for her exceptional skills in running and competed at the 2012 London Summer Olympics while also securing a victory in the 1500 meters at the 2012 World Indoor Championships.
Prior to her fame as an Olympian, Dibaba made history by becoming the second junior woman to win two consecutive junior cross country championships: the 2008 and 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships. Notably, she broke the Ethiopian record for the 1500 meters competition at the 2012 World Indoor Championships with an impressive time of 3:57.77 minutes.
