About Galen Hooks
Galen Hooks is a choreographer and photographer known for her work as a back-up dancer for singer Janet Jackson. She was born on November 19, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, to a family of Afro-Brazilian and Japanese descent.
Before gaining recognition in the industry, Hooks danced with a troupe that won the Star Search competition in the early 1990s. While pursuing her passion for dance professionally, she also earned a Pre-Law degree from Penn State. Additionally, she worked as a model exclusively for Nike’s Dance and Sport Culture lines.
Her career highlights include working as a choreographer and dancer for The LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers). This talented artist continues to make an impact in the world of entertainment through her creative contributions.
