About Francine Prose
Francine Prose (born April 1, 1947) is an American novelist known for her work on Blue Angel, a satirical novel addressing issues of sexual harassment in college. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she graduated from Radcliffe College in 1968 before going on to publish her first novel, Judah the Pious, in 1973. Among her other notable works are Household Saints (1981) and The Glorious Ones (1974). Prose has received recognition for her writing through awards such as the Guggenheim Fellowship. She currently resides with her husband, artist Howie Michels.
