About Fiorella Mannoia
Fiorella Mannoia was born on April 4, 1954 in Rome, Italy. She is an Italian singer known for her contributions to World Music. Her albums Canzone Per Parlare, Di Terra e Vento, and Concerti all won the prestigious Targa Tenco award. Additionally, Certe Piccole Voci and Gente Comune also received this honor.
Prior to gaining recognition as a musician, Mannoia worked as a stuntwoman in the entertainment industry. However, she rose to fame after competing at the 1968 Castrocaro Music Festival which marked the beginning of her successful music career.
Mannoia’s talents extend beyond Italian; she has sung in various Romance languages including English, Portuguese, and French. Aside from her musical pursuits, she also served as a host at the 50th Sanremo Music Festival.
Mannoia grew up with her siblings Patrizia and Maurizio under the care of their father Luigi.
