About Fatima Robinson
Fatima Robinson is a choreographer and music video director, born on August 29, 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has gained recognition for her work with renowned artists such as Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, and The Black Eyed Peas.
Robinson’s talent was acknowledged when she received the 2002 MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography for her work on Mary J. Blige‘s “Family Affair” video. Before gaining widespread fame, she choreographed a play titled Radiant Baby which was based on the life of artist Keith Haring and premiered at the Public Theater in New York City.
Notably, Robinson has also been involved in large-scale events such as choreographing the dance moves for The Black Eyed Peas’ halftime show performance during Super Bowl XLV in 2011.
She relocated to Los Angeles with her family at the age of four where her mother worked in a hair salon.
