About Evelyne Brochu
Evelyne Brochu is a French-Canadian actress born on November 17, 1983, in Montreal, Canada. She has gained recognition for her roles in films such as Tom at the Farm, Polytechnique, and Cafe de Flore. Additionally, she is known for portraying Delphine Cormier on the popular television series Orphan Black.
Having trained at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Quebec, Brochu began her screen acting career in 2006 with a film titled Cheech. In 2017, she earned the Best Actress award at the Tiburon International Film Festival for her performance in Le Passe Devant Nous.
Brochu’s professional theatrical credits also include Canadian productions of The Lion in Winter, Uncle’s Dream, and Tom a la Ferme. She grew up in a French-Canadian family in Montreal and started speaking English during childhood. For a period of time, she was romantically involved with fellow Canadian actor Francois Arnaud.
