About Esther Passaris
Esther Passaris, born on October 20, 1964 in Kenya, is a prominent politician and philanthropist. She currently serves as the Nairobi County Women’s Representative in the Kenyan parliament and is affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement Party. Passaris also previously ran for Mayor of Nairobi.
Prior to her political career, Passaris earned a law degree from the University of London. In 2016, she was honored as one of the Most Influential Women in Business and Government by CEO Global in South Africa.
Passaris comes from diverse heritage – her father is Greek while her mother is Kenyan. She has two children with businessman Pius Ngugi, including a daughter named Makenna.
