Esther Earl was born on August 3, 1994, in Beverly, Massachusetts. She gained recognition as a blogger and YouTube vlogger within the Harry Potter and Nerdfighter online communities. Posthumously, she became famous for her contributions to the New York Times bestselling series “This Star Won’t Go Out,” which compiled her online writings.
Prior to her fame, Esther adopted the online aliases “CrazyCrayon” and “cookie4monster4.” At just twelve years old, she was diagnosed with advanced thyroid cancer and tragically passed away four years later. Esther grew up in Beverly alongside siblings Evangeline, Abraham, Abby, and Graham.
After her passing, her parents established a childhood cancer charity in her honor.
