About Es Devlin
Es Devlin is a professional conceptual artist born on September 24, 1971, in England. She is best known for her work as a stage designer, creating designs for various performances, concerts, and live events.
Prior to her fame, she began her studies at the Royal Academy of Music at the age of 12 before earning a B.A. in English Literature from Bristol University. Devlin then pursued set design at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design and worked for Le Cirque Invisible before assisting Damien Hirst on an installation at the Richard de Marci Gallery.
Devlin held a significant role in creating, designing, and executing the 2012 Summer Olympic Games closing ceremony. Her parents are author and teacher Angela Devlin and journalist Tim Delvin.
