Erra Fazira (born February 9, 1974) is a Malaysian actress, model, and singer known for her work in the film industry. She hails from Sungai Choh, Malaysia and gained recognition for her role in the movie “Hingga Hujung Nyawa,” which earned her a Malaysian Film Festival award.
Prior to pursuing an acting career, she was crowned Miss Malaysia in 1992 at the age of eighteen. Additionally, she achieved notable success portraying the titular character in both “Maria Mariana” and its sequel.
Fazira has also collaborated with director Yusuf Haslam on multiple projects since their initial partnership in 1994.
