Erika Kokay, born on August 15, 1957 in Fortaleza, Brazil, is a Brazilian politician known for her role as Federal Deputy for the Federal District and her presidency over the Banking Union of Brasilia.
Before entering politics, she worked as a banker and psychologist. In 1989, she joined the Worker’s Party and was elected district deputy in 1998. She began serving as Federal Deputy in 2002. Additionally, from 2000 to 2002 she served at the Central Unica dos Trabalhadores – DF.
Born and raised in Fortaleza, Brazil, Erika Kokay has established herself as an influential figure within Brazilian politics through her dedicated service to the public.<
