Erica Alfridi, born on February 2, 1968 in Italy, is a race walker who achieved success at both national and international levels. She represented Italy in the 2000 Olympics where she finished fourth in the women’s 20-km walk event. In addition to her performance at the Olympics, she also won gold in the 20-km walk at the 2001 Mediterranean Games.
Prior to her Olympic appearance, Alfridi participated in the World Race Walking Cup and secured a commendable fourth place position in the 10-km walk event during 1997. Her notable achievements include winning gold at the 2002 World Race Walking Cup in the same discipline.
Alfridi hails from Tregnago, Italy and has been an influential figure within race walking circles throughout her career.
