About Emelina Adams
Emelina Adams is a model born on February 2, 1992, in Henderson, Nevada. She gained recognition after being crowned as Miss Nevada USA in 2016 and previously was a top 10 finalist for Miss Nevada in 2014.
Prior to her pageant success, Adams graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in psychology and a minor in pre-law. Following this accomplishment, she became an advocate against addiction due to her personal experience with her sister’s struggles.
Tragically, Emelina lost her older sister Jessica to addiction at the age of 24. This spurred her activism speaking to families and schools about addiction prevention.
In addition to her advocacy work, Adams also made headlines for receiving a DUI in 2013 after falling asleep drunk with the car running.
Despite these challenges, Emelina continues to use her platform as an influential figure within the modeling industry and beyond.
