Elli Kokkinou is a Greek world music singer born on July 24, 1970, in Athens, Greece. She gained widespread recognition for her multi-platinum albums “Sto Kokkino” and “Ta Genethlia Mou”, as well as for her role as a judge on the second season of Greek Idol.
Prior to achieving fame, Kokkinou collaborated with various artists and provided backup vocals in the 1990s before attending the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.
Notably, she opened a nursery school in 2012 and earned the title of Best New International Artist in Turkey during the mid-2000s.
Kokkinou was previously married to Panagiotis Vasileiadis from 2007 to 2010.
