Prior to her soap opera career, Dolan started as a theater actress and took notable roles such as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. In addition to her work in daytime television, she received a nomination for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as Margo in 1992.
