Elizabeth Hubbard, born on December 22, 1933 in New York, is an American actress known for her work in soap operas. She rose to prominence with her portrayal of Lucinda Walsh in the long-running series As the World Turns, created by Irma Philips. Hubbard appeared in just under 2,000 episodes of the show and also played Dr. Althea Davis on over 2,500 episodes of The Doctors.
Prior to achieving success on television, Hubbard honed her craft by studying acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Her contributions to daytime television were recognized when she received a Daytime Emmy award in 1974 for her role on The Doctors. Her last on-screen appearance was in a 2018 episode of Anacostia.
Hubbard’s personal life includes having a son with her former husband David Bennett.
