Eleanor Boardman (born August 19, 1898) was a popular movie actress in the 1920s. She was born in Pennsylvania and is best known for her roles in films such as The Crowd (1928) and Bardelys the Magnificent (1926).
Prior to her acting career, she was given a part in a film by director Rupert Hughes which helped kickstart her journey into the world of acting.
Boardman retired from acting in 1935 after struggling to make the transition from silent films to talking films. She had two daughters named Antonia and Belinda during her first marriage and was married twice throughout her life.
