Ekaterina Leonova, born on April 23, 1987 in Volgograd, Russia, is a professional Russian ballroom dancer. She gained recognition for her appearances as a professional partner to celebrities on the German reality competition Let’s Dance. In 2017, during her fourth season on the show, she secured first place with partner Gil Ofarim.
Leonova began training in ballroom dancing at the age of ten and achieved success by winning the Southern Russian Champion of Youth title. She then pursued amateur ballroom competitions while studying business administration in Cologne, Germany and participated in prestigious events such as the EU World Cup and The World Cup in 2012.
Outside of her career achievements, Leonova often shares moments with her family on social media platforms like Instagram where she frequently features visits from her mother Vera and sister Maria.
