About Edele Lynch
Edele Lynch is an Irish pop singer who was born on December 15, 1979. She is best known as the former lead vocalist of the Irish girl group B*Witched. In addition to her music career, she gained recognition for winning Celebrity Apprentice Ireland in 2013 and appearing as a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.
Prior to her fame with B*Witched, Edele and her twin sister Keavy formed the group Butterfly Farm in 1997 along with Sinead O’Carroll. Edele and Keavy also created a group called Ms Lynch in 2006 which was later rebranded as Barbarellas. This project ended in 2012 when B*Witched reunited.
She comes from a musical family – her sister Keavy performs alongside her in B*Witched, while her brother Shane is a member of the boy band Boyzone. Edele married Michael Barrett in 2006 and they had two daughters and a son before divorcing in 2014.
