Dr. Jean Feldman (born March 15, 1947) is an American educator and musical artist known for her children’s learning songs. She released music under the record label Music Design Record Company.
Prior to her music career, Feldman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia State University, and a D.A.S.T from Emory University.
Her viral song “Dr. Jean’s Banana Dance” (aka The Guacamole Song) became an internet meme. Born as Jean Rosenberg Feldman in Milan, Tennessee, she has two brothers and a sister. Her father was also a teacher. She is married to John and has a son named Nick and daughter Holly.
