Dorothy Bush Koch (born August 18, 1959) is an American family member known for her relationship with two U.S. Presidents, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. She hails from Texas and is the author of the 2006 book “My Father, My President: A Personal Account of the Life of George H.W. Bush.” Dorothy grew up alongside four older brothers – George, Jeb, Marvin, and Neil – as well as an older sister named Pauline who tragically passed away from childhood cancer in 1953.
In the early 1980s, she graduated from Boston College with a degree in sociology before going on to marry William LeBlond; their union resulted in two children named Ellie and Sam. Following this marriage, Dorothy then married businessman and lobbyist Robert P. Koch with whom she has a son named Robert and a daughter named Gigi.
