Doreen Steinert is a German pop singer born on November 4th, 1986 in Potsdam, Germany. She rose to prominence in 2004 after winning the talent competition Popstars as part of the group Nu Pagadi and subsequently releasing their debut album Your Dark Side in 2005. Following her success with the group, she embarked on a solo career and released her debut album Vorsicht zerbrechlich in 2011.
Steinert has been passionate about singing and art from a young age, leading her to audition for the German show Popstars in 2003. Although initially unsuccessful, she persevered and eventually achieved success in the music industry.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Steinert competed in the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2010 with her single “Wie konntest du nur.” Born into a family affected by divorce at an early age, she grew up with her sister Denise under their father’s care in Potsdam.
