About Dina Manfredini
Dina Manfredini (April 4, 1897 – December 17, 2012) was an Italian-born supercentenarian known for being the oldest Italian-born person. She spent most of her life in Iowa, USA and passed away just four months before her 116th birthday.
Manfredini worked as a maid until she was ninety and even survived a cancer diagnosis shortly after her 100th birthday. In the 1920s, she moved from northern Italy to the United States where she worked in an American factory during World War II manufacturing ammunition.
She lived for nearly fifty years after her husband’s death. After settling in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband Riccardo Manfredini, they had four children named Dante, Mary Russo, Enes, and Rudy Manfredini.
