About Dillie Keane
Dillie Keane (born May 23, 1952) is an English comedian, stage and screen actress, writer, and songwriter. She is best known as a member of the comedy group Fascinating Aida.
Keane was born in Portsmouth, England to Irish Catholic parents and later settled in Oxfordshire. Prior to her fame, she wrote and performed a one-woman play called Single Again at the 1990 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In addition to her work with Fascinating Aida, Keane appeared in the comedic English police series Pie in the Sky and wrote for and hosted radio programs such as Booked! and Stop the Week.
During the early 1990s, she also wrote a column for The Mail on Sunday.
