About Denitsa Ikonomova
Denitsa Ikonomova (born January 18, 1987) is a Bulgarian champion Latin dancer known for her appearances on several prominent dancing reality series, including So You Think You Can Dance Canada and Dancing with the Stars France.
As a teenager, Ikonomova trained at the Arthur Murray Dance School in Montreal. In addition to her dance career, she has also ventured into acting and appeared in the French-Canadian film Funkytown in 2011. She has also made an appearance in a music video for Persian singer Mina.
Born in Kyustendil, Bulgaria, Denitsa moved to Canada at the age of fifteen where she pursued her passion for dance and achieved success on international platforms.
