Dena Grayson is a doctor and researcher born on January 5, 1971 in Melbourne, Florida. She has dedicated her career to developing treatments for various health issues such as cancers, deadly viruses, heart failure and anemia. Dr. Grayson earned her MD and PhD in biochemistry and molecular cell biology from the Washington University School of Medicine.
In 2016, she ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic nomination for the United States House of Representatives for Florida’s 9th congressional district. That same year, she married former Congressman Alan Grayson.
