About Demi Stokes
Demi Stokes (born December 12, 1991) is an English professional soccer player hailing from Dudley, England. She currently plays for Manchester City W.F.C. and represents the England national team.
Stokes embarked on her professional career in 2007 by signing with Sunderland A.F.C., before moving to spend a season playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2011. She has been part of the England national team since 2014.
Prior to her professional career, Stokes accepted a scholarship to attend the University of South Florida.
In addition to her club and international accomplishments, Stokes was selected to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo as part of Great Britain’s team.
She was born and raised in Dudley, England and now shares her life with partner Katie Harrington; together they welcomed their first child in June 2022.
