About Dayoung
Dayoung, born on May 14, 1999 in Jeju, South Korea, is a Korean pop singer known for her role as a member of the idol girl group Cosmic Girls (also known as WJSN) under Starship Entertainment. The group has four subunits representing the letters WJSN and gained recognition for their mini album “Would You Like?”. Prior to her music career, Dayoung appeared in the first season of K-pop Star in 2011 at the age of 13. In addition to her musical pursuits, she also made an appearance on the KBS South Korean reality show Hello Counselor in 2016. Born and raised in Jeju-do, South Korea.
