Damares, born on January 30, 1980 in Brazil, is a renowned gospel singer known for her captivating music. She gained widespread acclaim with the release of hit albums such as Apocalipse in 2008, which sold over one million copies. Her album Diamante secured the prestigious Trofeu Promessas award for Best Album in 2011.
Before rising to fame, Damaress attended the Municipal School of Augusto Angels and eventually signed with the record label Louvores ao Rei in 1997. Notably, she was honored as an Ambassador of Peace by the United Nations.
